Technovation Challenge For Girls

An 8-week challenge where teams of middle school girls will work with mentors & coaches to technovate with cash prizes to be won.

In many societies a girl’s choice to study science/engineering can be understood as a decision that weakens her identity as a female and making her appear less feminine. This dissuades many girls from studying STEEM subjects in favor of courses that are considered more appropriate for their gender.

Technovation strives to inspire girls to get involved in STEM and close the gender gap. Technovation is the world’s largest technology entrepreneurship challenge for girls aged 10–18. It runs across 100+ countries.

Most in demand & high paying jobs today are Science & Tech based but mainly dominated by the males. Girls can be prepared ahead for this as well.
